Role Overview:

As a Strategy & Operations (S&O) Consultant at Slalom, you will help clients improve their business operations, enhance customer satisfaction, cut costs, and drive growth. This role will require you to apply your expertise in strategy development, operational efficiency, and business transformation to deliver tailored solutions. You will work directly with clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams, developing and executing strategies that align with business objectives and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

๐Ÿ“ Assessments & Strategy Development:

  • Conduct current state assessments of clientsโ€™ operations and identify key areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate gaps between current and desired future states and develop actionable roadmaps for clients.
  • Design and recommend effective business models, strategies, and solutions across technology, processes, and people.

๐Ÿ“Š Execution & Delivery:

  • Lead projects and engage directly with clients to implement strategic recommendations.
  • Drive initiatives related to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and organizational alignment, ensuring results align with business goals.

๐Ÿ”ง Operational Improvements:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-cutting, without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Develop business architecture, operating models, and strategic sourcing plans to optimize business performance.

๐Ÿค Client Relationship & Leadership:

  • Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients at all levels of their organization, from senior executives to operational teams.
  • Play an instrumental role in leading client engagements and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Proposal Development & Business Pursuit:

  • Contribute to the business development process by drafting proposals, presenting solutions to potential clients, and supporting sales efforts.
  • Participate in industry events and help develop thought leadership within the Strategy & Operations field.

What Youโ€™ll Bring:

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy and/or operations consulting with a strong background in working with C-suite executives.
  • Experience in business strategy development, operations optimization, and project leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, including ROI, NPV, and IRR calculations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of statistics and strategic frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
