🎓 Internship Overview

Join us as a Summer Engineering Intern and work alongside both the Development Engineering and Civil Engineering teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in all phases of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects—from initial design through construction. You’ll gain technical knowledge and professional development while contributing to real-world projects with lasting impact.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Develop solar project site plans using publicly available and site-specific data

• Draft progress design exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Generate and manage Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

• Support energy yield modeling and process technical data

• Perform civil due diligence to support cost estimation and EPC bid packages

• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering on technical specs and contractor evaluations

• Participate in the EPC RFP process, technical reviews, and supplier qualification

✅ Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field

• Strong interest in renewable energy, especially solar and battery storage systems

• Familiarity with electrical engineering design principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD tools

• Experience with ArcMap or GIS is a plus

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptable, with excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Hybrid work model (3 days in-office/week) applies.

💰 Compensation

• 💵 Hourly Rate: $25/hour (undergraduate internships)

• Final compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
