🎯 The Role

Fortinet is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic support team at our Atlanta, GA office. In this role, you will provide exceptional web and telephone-based technical support for our Centralized Management & SOC Solutions, specifically:

  • πŸ“Š FortiAnalyzer – Centralized Logging & Reporting
  • βš™οΈ FortiManager – Centralized Configuration Management

You will collaborate with QA and software development teams to resolve customer issues, reproduce problems, and contribute to product enhancements. πŸ‘€ Qualifications & Skills

  • πŸŽ“ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • πŸ’» Experience: 4+ years in technical support, preferably in networking or cybersecurity.
  • πŸ“‘ Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, L2/L3 switches.
  • πŸ” Security Expertise: Experience with firewalls, VPN gateways, and security appliances.
  • πŸ› οΈ Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze complex networking issues and provide timely solutions.
  • πŸ“‘ SQL Knowledge: Experience writing SQL queries and select statements.
  • ☁️ Cloud & Linux: Familiarity with VM/Cloud environments, Linux administration, and troubleshooting.
