As a Customer Support Specialist in our Phoenix, AZ Center of Excellence (COE), youโll assist customers with complex issues, demonstrating empathy, problem-solving skills, and professionalism. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality service and supporting Uberโs mission to enhance transportation and healthcare access.
๐ Key Responsibilities โ What Youโll Be Doing
๐ Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
- Respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries with a customer-first mindset.
- Handle ticket-based and phone support cases, resolving issues with efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide empathetic, professional, and high-quality support to ensure customer satisfaction.
๐ Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:
- Navigate complex, undocumented scenarios, using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Report common customer concerns to Team Leads to enhance support strategies.

- Work closely with team members and leadership to share knowledge and improve processes.
- Contribute to a collaborative work culture that promotes learning and innovation.
- Adapt to changing policies and customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
๐ Required Qualifications โ What Youโll Need to Succeed
โ๏ธ Minimum Qualifications:
- FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS: At least 6 months of experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality (in-person or contact center).
- FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS: At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality (in-person or contact center).
- Comfortable handling multiple support channels (phone, email, chat, and ticket-based cases).
