Contact Government Services, LLC (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated User Support Specialist to join our team in Peoria, IL (61602). In this role, you will play a key part in providing IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, managing hardware/software installations, and maintaining system efficiency. πΌ Key Responsibilities:

Provide end-user IT support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and resolve technical concerns.
β
Install, configure, and maintain USAO IT systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
β
Physically move and track IT equipment, ensuring all devices are logged and accounted for.
β
Monitor and diagnose IT systems, proactively addressing potential performance issues.
β
Administer user accounts, manage access controls, and maintain cybersecurity best practices.
β
Use trouble ticketing systems to track, document, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
β
Deliver training sessions to district users, ensuring effective use of IT systems and software.
β
Support automated litigation systems, including database and imaging applications.
π Required Skills & Qualifications:
π Minimum Experience: 2+ years in end-user IT support or a related role.
πΎ Hands-on experience with network, telecommunications, and operating systems.
π» Proficiency in software troubleshooting, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and enterprise applications.
π Experience supporting database applications, imaging tools, and litigation support software.
π Strong understanding of user account management, access permissions, and security settings.
π Excellent communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
π€ Prior teaching/training experience in computer applications is highly preferred.
βοΈ Experience in DOJ office automation environments is a plus.
π Undergraduate degree is valued but not required.
