As a Visiting Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching finance courses at the undergraduate, master’s, and/or doctoral levels, producing high-impact research, and participating in service and outreach initiatives that align with the educational mission of Mays Business School and Texas A&M University.

📚 Key Responsibilities

📌 Conduct and publish high-quality research in top academic journals within finance and economics.
📌 Teach finance courses with rigorous academic content at various levels (undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D.).
📌 Engage in service and outreach activities that contribute to the department, business school, and university community.
📌 Participate in faculty meetings, seminars, and academic collaborations to enhance student learning and institutional impact.
📌 Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

✅ Ph.D. in Economics (required) from a recognized and accredited institution.
✅ Demonstrated expertise in finance, economics, or a related field.
✅ Strong research record with publications in leading academic journals.
✅ Proven teaching excellence at the undergraduate or graduate level.
✅ Ability to engage in service and outreach efforts that contribute to the department’s and university’s mission.
✅ Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
