π Job Overview
As a WIC Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to clients seeking Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program benefits. This position involves scheduling appointments, verifying documents, issuing vouchers, and providing essential WIC information.
β¨ Be a part of a team that ensures families receive the nutrition and resources they need!
π Key Responsibilities
π Schedule & manage WIC appointments for clients efficiently.
π Verify client information & eligibility using GA Gateway, Gimms, Grits, GWIS, and WEC.
π Ensure accurate documentation for proof of residence, income, and identification.
π Answer phone calls & provide information on WIC services, hours, and eligibility.
π‘ Assist clients with rights & obligations forms and voter registration applications.
π Update client records in GA Gateway & INSIGHT software.
ποΈ Issue WIC vouchers & educate clients on how to use them at grocery vendors.
ποΈ Maintain records & organize medical files for clinic operations.
π©ββοΈ Refer clients to other health services when needed.
π Order office supplies & maintain a clean, organized work area.
π― Qualifications & Skills
π Required:
βοΈ High School Diploma or GED.
βοΈ 1+ year of experience in a customer service role.
βοΈ Excellent communication & organizational skills.
βοΈ Ability to handle confidential client information securely.
βοΈ Proficiency in computer systems & data entry.
βοΈ Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail.
π Preferred:
βοΈ Previous experience in healthcare, public assistance, or WIC programs.
βοΈ Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
