Our Wind Technicians play a critical role in maintaining our wind turbines, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.

📌 Role Overview

As a Wind Technician I or II, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will also climb up to 300 feet daily to inspect and service turbine components.

⚡ Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform maintenance and repairs on wind turbines
✅ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
✅ Conduct troubleshooting and implement corrective actions
✅ Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and hazardous energy control procedures
✅ Complete detailed reports and documentation using Maximo
✅ Ensure safety compliance at all times

🎯 Who We’re Looking For

✅ Minimum Qualifications:

🎓 Wind Technician I: High School Diploma or GED + ability to complete training within 1 year
🎓 Wind Technician II: High School Diploma or GED + 3+ years of wind turbine experience (or 1+ year at Deriva Energy)

✅ Preferred Experience:

🛠 AAS degree or certification in Wind Energy
🛠 Experience with Vestas V82 & V90 turbines
🛠 Knowledge of high voltage & substation maintenance
🛠 Familiarity with Maximo & Microsoft Office
🛠 Forklift certification & tower rescue training
